If you and your partner are the adventurous types this will show in your lives, and definitely in your wedding plans. You may have been proposed to while you were hiking, have chosen a H2 Hummer as your wedding car, but where are you going to go on your honeymoon to embrace this adventurous spirit?
Well all of you daredevils should take a closer look at Costa Rica for your honeymoon. Costa Rica is just above Panama and is surrounded by both the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean ensuring there is plenty of beautiful beach to relax on after your exploring.
Costa Rica is a diverse little island where you can see tropical rain forests, nine active volcanoes, hot spring spas, pristine beaches, rivers, waterfalls and national parks. There is also a diversity of wildlife in Costa Rica which is home to 5% of all species of plants and animals, 10% of the world's species of birds, more than 50,000 insect species (!) and 2,000 orchid species.
While travelling to and around Costa Rica is surprisingly affordable, make sure you go during a season which suits your intended activities as there are two very distinct seasons - the dry season is from December to April, and the rainy season is from May to November, with an average year-round temperature of 800F.
You will want to start your exploration in the capital, San Jos�. You can then make your way from the capital to the various tourist destinations. These may include a day tour of Irazu the volcano or the 24 hour Casino, Club Colonial.
If you want to check out the path less travelled, make sure you visit Manuel Antonio on the Pacific Coast which is said to be one of the ten most beautiful places in the word.
While staying at Costa Rica you will have the unique opportunity to dive into two oceans. There are plenty of opportunities to go scuba diving, surfing or swimming in the warm tropical waters.
On dry land you can opt for mountain bike riding, canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, camping or horse riding through the rainforest.
