About the National Limousine & Chauffeur Association: The National Limousine & Chauffeur Association (NLCA) was instituted to achieve two principle objectives.
The first objective is to bring together professional chauffeured car service providers in the United Kingdom into a single organisation which will establish standards of service and conduct throughout the industry.
The second objective is to provide the public with a benchmark enabling customers to hire with confidence from any operator displaying the NLCA logo.

Following a recent meeting between the NLCA, VOSA, the Police & the DFT NLCA have reported that significant progress has been made in achieving an accord on possible legislation governing the safe and legal operation of vehicles up to and including 8 passenger seats, and from 9 to 16 passenger seats.
Whilst details may not be discussed until proposals have been placed in front of the minister. The NLCA feel that they will soon be able to offer definitive and specific advice on both the current interpretation of the rules, and also major changes which will occur early in the new year affecting both up to 8 passenger, and 9 to 16 passenger limousines.
